1. Network Diagram

Definition:
A graphical representation of project activities showing their sequence and dependencies.

Simple Meaning:
Project ka roadmap jisme kaunsa kaam pehle aur baad me hoga dikhaya jata hai.

Example:
Steel plant me plate mill installation ke liye – foundation → structure → equipment erection → testing — ye sab network diagram me show hota hai.

2. Non-Conformance (NC)

Definition:
Any work or material that does not meet specified standards or requirements.

Simple Meaning:
Jo kaam ya material drawing/specification ke according nahi hai.

Example:
Agar descaling pump pipeline me wrong thickness ka pipe lag gaya, to wo non-conformance hai.

3. Non-Conformance Report (NCR)

Definition:
A formal document raised to record and correct non-conforming work.

Simple Meaning:
Galti ko officially record karke usko correct karne ka document.

Example:
If plate mill foundation bolt alignment wrong ho gaya, NCR raise karke rectification plan banaya jata hai.

4. Negotiation

Definition:
A discussion between parties to reach a mutually acceptable agreement.

Simple Meaning:
Rate, delivery ya condition par baat-cheet karke final agreement karna.

Example:

5. Net Present Value (NPV)

Definition:
A financial measure that calculates project profitability by comparing present value of cash inflows and outflows.

Example:

6. Near-Critical Path

Definition:
A path in the project schedule that is close in duration to the critical path.

Simple Meaning:
Wo activity sequence jo thoda delay hua to project delay ho sakta hai.

Example:
Descaling unit installation me electrical cabling ka kaam near-critical ho sakta hai.

7. Node

Definition:
A point in a network diagram that represents an activity or event.

Simple Meaning:
Network diagram ka ek step ya point.

8. Nominal Group Technique (NGT)

Definition:
A structured method for group brainstorming and decision making.

Simple Meaning:

9. Notice to Proceed (NTP)

10. Normal Distribution

Definition:

Pump pressure readings ka data normally distributed hota hai.

11. Network Logic

Definition:
The relationships and dependencies between project activities.

Kaun sa kaam kis par depend karta hai.

Example:
Foundation complete hone ke baad hi pump erection ho sakta hai — ye network logic hai.

12. Negative Float (Slack)

Definition:
When a task is behind schedule and causing delay in project completion.

Simple Meaning:
Activity already delay me chal rahi hai.

Example:
Agar motor supply late ho gayi aur erection ruk gaya, to us activity ka negative float hoga.

13. Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)

Definition:

Example:

14. Number of Resources

Definition:

15. No-Cost Extension

Definition:
Extension of project time without increasing budget.

Example:
